Cosywarm Power Flushingfor NW Leicestershire and Derbyshire

Power flushing is the most efficient and effective method of cleansing your complete heating system.

Signs that you might need a power flush

There are a number of signs to look for before deciding to go ahead with the power flushing process, for example:

  • Cold areas on radiators,

  • Excessive noise from the boiler and / or the heating system pump,

  • Discoloured water if you bleed radiators,

  • Slow warming of the heating system.

How do you do it?

Cosywarm will connect a low pressure high flow rate pump to your heating system; because it is a low pressure pump it can be used on any type of wet heating system no matter what fuel is used.

A water/chemical mix is forced around your system breaking down blockages and any sludge build up and return any product found back to the pump reservoir where it can be safely removed.

The clean system is then re filled and treated with a good quality central heating inhibitor to help prevent further decay.

Cosywarm recommends fitting a system filter, this non mechanical device helps to keep everything nice and clean, and can increase the life of heating systems.

What if I don’t have a power flushing?

The build up of sludge in hot water central heating systems is inevitable, no matter what fuel source is used. Over a period of time this sludge can block pipes and prevent the radiators from distributing heat around your house.

Sludge can also seriously affect the efficiency of your central heating system; it will eventually lead to higher fuel bills and cause damage that can bring forward the time when you need to replace some or all of the system
